Following on from the successes had with the Residence 9 system, Residence 7 continues to blend 21st century design within a system that has been specifically created to re-create the aesthetics commonly found in 19th century timber windows. Engineered using contemporary composite materials to result in a virtually maintenance-free finish, R7 utilises an additional internal chamber to offer impressive thermal performance.
Residence 7 in comparison to the other Residence systems stands out as being entirely flush internally, with the narrowest frame depth of only 75mm (when externally flush) to make for a defined and streamlined authentic look. R7 easily accommodates additional double or triple glazing for customers who want to lock in heat and create the most efficient home, expertly balancing aesthetics and performance.

Residence products are all about recreating the classic look commonly found in the 19th century period, and a key factor in achieving this is the inclusion of welded mechanical joints. We at Window Tech Trade are the only supplier using the welded mechanical joint in the South East. Using this technique allows you to take the frames unglazed, and it's easier for the installers to handle on site.

Engineered using an acute combination of uPVC and composite materials, Residence 7 has been designed from the ground up to replicate a classic style and deliver modern performance. The various furniture and hardware used is very much in-keeping with this, letting homeowners personalise their R7 window with a wide variety of monkey tail and pear drop handle designs.
The defining feature of the system is unsurprisingly the addition of a 7th internal chamber which improves upon the typical 3, 5 or sometimes 6 chambers commonly found in most uPVC windows. The system makes security a priority coming complete with multi-point shoot bolt locking and mechanically jointed sashes that results in robust corner joints and authentic join lines.

The perfect finishing touch to every Residence-based window and door system, Window Tech Trade’s selection of handle options focus on two distinct styles: Pear drop and Monkey tail. Both are successful in terms of evoking a historical design while also introducing a sense of modernity thanks to a suite of attractive colours that range from Standard White to Bronze and Gold.
In the same vein as our traditional handle hardware options, each of our stays can be provided in either a Monkey tail or Pear drop design. While using the ‘functional retaining stay’ with either option is recommended, optional functional butt hinges can also be integrated for when the sashes are required to be side hung. Stay colours range from White, Chrome, Black, and Gold.
A timber window mainstay since the days when they were first introduced, there are two peg options for our range of Residence windows and doors: Standard and Dummy. Both can be styled to not disrupt the overall aesthetic of the final product, while letting end users lock their Residence product at a pre-defined distance without any hassle.
